How do I transition to Rex feeding?
The change of food should be done gradually over 7 days. Mix 25% of the new Rex food with 75% of the usual food, during the first 2 or 3 days. In the next 2 or 3 days mix the food at 50%. The next 2 or 3 days, mix 75% of Rex food and 25% of the previous food. In this way, after a week we will be able to supply only the Rex food.
How much food should I give my pet?
The recommended amount of food can be found in the ration tables that appear on the packaging. The amounts are indicative, since the ration of food depends on various factors, such as: weight, activity level, age or metabolism.
What shelf life do Rex products have?
We guarantee the maximum freshness of our food until its preferred date of consumption indicated on the packaging.
Why is fresh meat so important?
Thanks to the incorporation of fresh meat in the cooking of the recipes, we get foods that are more nutritious, tastier and with higher quality proteins.
Where do the ingredients come from?
Meats, fish and vegetables come from the best Spanish and European suppliers and farms.
Possible variations in the colour of the croquette. Is it normal?
Yes, it’s normal. Rex foods do not contain artificial colours. The colour of the croquettes is the one that the set of ingredients provide, and there may be small variations in the colour. This slight variation has no impact on the taste or nutritional properties of the food.
What does Grain Free mean?
It means that the products have been made without grains or cereals.
When should I switch to an Adult-type diet?
We recommend maintaining the puppy or kitten diet up to 12 months in cats and dogs of small and medium breeds, and up to 18 months in dogs of large breeds, for which we have a specialized feed both in their puppy and adult stage.
